National and local exhibitors are coming to Omaha to sell beads, cabachons, charms, books, findings, tools, supplies and other bead/jewelry-related items, some difficult or impossible to find locally.

This is the place to BE-ad!

Co-sponsored by the Nebraska Bead Society, Omaha Beady Bunch and the Midwest Lampworkers' Guild.

Admission is $3 - pick up a $1 off coupon at local bead shops.

The Nebraska Bead Society's website provides a list of some of the confirmed "must see" vendors.

Lunch is available for purchase from the District 66 Catering.

Get out of the house and come torch!!!!!!!

Where: Crystal Forge @ the Hot Shops Art Center, Omaha

When: Sat 10-4

Why: Because we have cabin fever and feel the need to play with fire.

Cost: $10.00 for your gas fee plus a side dish to share for lunch. (main course is sloppy joes)

* Mini cc's available for rent through Crystal Forge studio - please contact Ed Fennel for torch reservations.

What else to bring: torch, glass, tools, mandrels, bead release . . . a kiln will be available to place your beads in, but if you want to take home your beads on Saturday bring your own fiber blanket.

This fun , social event is sponsored by the Midwest Lampworkers Guild and the Crystal Forge Studio. The purpose of the event is to get together and share ideas and techniques for making glass beads.

Heather Trimlett Workshop

Heather Trimlett is coming to Omaha for her Beads & Buttons Class!
The class will be held at the Crystal Forge Studio in the Hot Shops Art Center.


March 20-21, 2010
10:00 am-5:00 pm daily



Class fee $375 includes 4 button mandrels & daily lunch

Students will receive class list of reccomended moretti & lauscha glass that they will need to bring to class.
